Puffles!
Hey everyone!
I'm here again, this time to talk about the exciting topic of puffles!
Puffles play a BIG role in Flippr! They are a lot of fun to have, especially with all of the new features that we are adding to make it easier to play around with your pet!
Now, you may have seen the footer ad on the site, which does reveal our first two exclusive puffles! I'm proud to introduce the Silver and Magenta puffles today!
Our puffles are fully animated by the team! It takes a while, but we do it to make sure we are giving you guys the best experience possible! What this means is that EVERY puffle can be cared for up close, or, as I am excited to announce, across the island!
That's right! Take your puffles everywhere, because the island is about to get a lot more fun! This week, we've been busy adding lots of things that we call puffleractions to the island! Puffleractions are a special feature, where you can click in a certain place, and your puffle will leave your side and interact!
For example, head down to the Puffle Care Center to do everything at once, like say, letting your puffle nap!

But not all puffleractions are so cut and dry. You can do them all around the island! Puffles love to splash around in the waterfall at the Forest!
Now, if you're in a lazy mood, and don't want to leave the house to care for your pet, than the regular options are still available. Here's a mockup of the interface look so far:
As you can see, there is a slot for each puffle's food and such. I'll probably post a pic when we finish it up!

Meeting Mascots
Hi there everyone!
For those of you who don't know, I'm Sandor, Flippr's owner and designer!
I came here to fill you in on one of my favorite parts of Flippr: mascots!
Flippr has real mascots for you to meet! (Don't worry, you can still dress up as them with the !UP command)
I wanted to give you guys some details on how this will work. As I said before, you can still dress up as mascots with the UP command, but each mascot has one unobtainable, unimitable item. Also, while everyone can where special mascot playercards, each mascot has a unique playercard that cannot be imitated. This allows you to determine who are the real mascots. The pictures below are the appearances mascots have when not at a party. If a mascot has a special playercard for a party, we'll be sure to post it here on the blog.
Without further ado, here are Flippr's mascots!
From left to right (if you don't know)
Klutzy, Herbert, Gary, Aunt Arctic
Rookie, Rockhopper, Cadence, Paige
Jet Pack Guy, Sensei, Rory, Dot
Ultimate Protobot 10K, Ski Bot, Jet Bot, Wheel Bot
Me (Sandor), Tusk
As you can see, each mascot has some similarities to the others. Here's some tips to confirm a mascot is real if you are confused:
1) A real mascot's playercard will ALWAYS have a glowing circle around the character
2) A real mascot will ALWAYS have a gift button where you can claim their background
3) A real mascot will NEVER ask you to reveal information such as passwords
Keep in mind, mascot backgrounds will NOT be obtainable with the AI command later, so make sure to meet them when they appear!

Welcome to Flippr!
I would like to welcome you all personally to the new (amazing) custom CPPS Flippr! I hope you enjoy your stay. We have a lot in store for you, so stay tuned for more.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Puffle Pal26 (nicknamed Green Ninja), the head blogger and a moderator here at Flippr. You may know me in the greater Club Penguin community as a blogger, lover of LEGO, and creator of Club Penguin projects on LEGO CUUSOO. I am even known by Spike Hike himself! I started working with the owner of this CPPS, Sandor, when I became his friend on the Club Penguin Wiki earlier last year. Together, we have worked on several other CPPS sites that didn't quite work out. However, we will not let that happen to Flippr, will we?
